Village Whiskey, 118 S. 20th St., will host Maker’s Mark Diplomat Nikki Smith from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 31 for a bourbon tasting in celebration of the Philadelphia debut of Maker’s 46. The event will feature complimentary tastes of the new spirit, which has notes of caramel, vanilla and spice, and bourbon-friendly bar snacks, as well as three $5 cocktails created by the restaurant’s team that will feature Maker’s 46.
