The resident of the 400 block of Jackson Street adds a splash of green to create a colorful concoction. The flavor is sure to dazzle friends. SPR
Ingredients:
1 box of yellow cake mix
1 box of pistachio instant
pudding mix
4 eggs, beaten
>1-1/4 cups of water
1/4 cup of oil
7 drops of green food coloring
1 cup of walnuts, crushed
Powdered sugar, optional
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Blend all of the ingredients except for the sugar in a large mixing bowl. Pour the mixture into a greased, 10-inch tube pan. Bake for one hour. Let cool for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with the sugar if desired.

“This recipe, minus the food coloring, was published over 20 years ago on the pistachio pudding box. I made this cake many many times and lost the recipe. I have searched the pistachio pudding boxes in the supermarket many times and it was never printed again. I'm glad to have it back!!!”
