Many have debated who makes the best cheesesteak, french fries, cannoli and other foods of choice around South Philly. Well, the readers of the South Philly Review have spoken and we are throwing a party to celebrate the best of the best. Come out 6 p.m. March 31 to Penns Landing Caterers, 1301 S. Columbus Blvd., and enjoy a taste of award-winning food. The evening also will include live entertainment, prizes and butlered hors d’oeuvres. Each of the winners will be presented with a plaque.
Tickets for this first annual event are $5 in advance/$10 at the door. They can be purchased at the South Philly Review, 12th and Porter streets, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Call 215-336-2500.
