A man left a trail of blood on a Point Breeze block, after he was caught in the gunfire last week.
While walking home from the corner store, a 25-year-old man heard gunshots on the 2000 block of Moore Street and ran toward 21st Street when he was struck twice at 9:49 p.m. July 15, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.
Police saw the man bleeding heavily from his right leg and foot upon their arrival, Tolliver said. The man was transported by medic to HUP in stable condition with a wound to his right knee and foot with that bullet entering his heel and exiting near his toes.
In addition to ballistics on the street, a basement window was struck on the block, Tolliver said.
The offenders are believed to be two males who fled in an unknown vehicle north on 20th Street. However, the victim did not see the shooter and did not know who would want to shoot him.
