A man was mugged in the Snyder Avenue subway station Sunday morning.

The 51-year-old entered the Broad Street Line’s Snyder Avenue stop on the 2000 block of South Broad Street from the northwest entrance, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. When he arrived to the southbound platform, an unknown man punched him in the face and snatched his billfold that contained lottery tickets and fled the station. The victim had minor bruising on his nose, but declined medical treatment.

The offender was described as black, age 20, 5-foot-7, 170 to 180 pounds; having facial hair; and wearing a black, puffy North Face vest, a maroon and blue checkered hoody and dark blue jeans.
