A man was burglarized after he was robbed inside a Point Breeze bar last week.
A 53-year-old was drinking at the bar inside Crab Bar, 1252 S. 21st St., when a man pointed a small black gun at him and said, “give it up,” Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The man handed over his wallet. The offender took $150 and dropped the wallet to the ground. The offender then handed over his keys, which he also dropped on ground, but then picked up and removed the house keys before fleeing from the bar.
Shortly after, a neighbor called the man and told him two men entered his home using keys while another waited in a Buick station wagon, Tolliver said. After the house alarm rang on the 2300 block of Dickinson Street, they fled in the Buick. Police later recovered the Buick on the 2700 block of Latona Street.
One of the men was described as wearing a red jersey and blue jeans while the other was in all black.
