Gunfire broke up a group of eight sitting outside striking one in the crowd in the backside Sunday night.
A 17-year-old woman, who was sitting on the corner with another woman and six men, was struck with gunfire on the 600 block of Emily Street at 11:10 p.m., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.
Four automobiles also were damaged by the gunshots including a red 1993 Mercury Cougar, a ’96 GMC Yukon, a blue 2002 Volkswagon Passat and a ’02 Ford Explorer, Tolliver said.
Police did not have any description of the suspect or suspects.
