The Bella Vista United Civic Association completed its Thanksgiving food drive Saturday, with distribution to local homes (Photo 1).

Ss. Neumann-Goretti High School, 1736 S. 10th St., raised funds for its athletic program Saturday with an onsite Turkey Trot (Photo 2).

English- and Spanish-speaking children united Saturday at Columbus Square Recreation Center, 1300 S. 12th St., for a bilingual playdate, which included singing, reading, playing games and Skyping (Photo 3).

Delaware’s Exceptional Care for Children received the 26th Annual Thomas Jefferson Award Oct. 25 at the Waterfall Room, 2015 S. Water St., for work with technology-dependent youngsters (Photo 4).

Universal Companies passed out 900 turkeys to families at Universal Institute Charter School, 801 S. 15th St.; Universal Audenried Charter School, 3301 Tasker St.; and Universal E. Vare Charter School, 2100 S. 24th St., Monday (Photo 5).
