More than 75 people received pre-Thanksgiving meals Nov. 17 at St. John’s Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1332 S. Third St. (Photo 1).

The holiday kept 186th District state Rep.-elect Jordan Harris busy, as he dished out delights at Yesha Fellowship Hall, 2301 Snyder Ave. (Photo 2).

Kindergartners at St. Gabriel School, 2917 Dickinson St., harvested a great time Nov. 20 with a costume party and feast (Photo 3). The youngsters also recently finished collecting money to provide dinners to seniors at The William A. Barrett Nabuurs Center, 2738 Dickinson St.

The Philadelphia Navy Yard, 4747 S. Broad St., held a blood drive Tuesday to help Hurricane Sandy victims (Photos 4 and 5).

The Neumann-Goretti Saints football team donned throwback jerseys Thanksgiving morning for their Turkey Bowl clash against the Southern Rams at the super site, 10th and Bigler streets (Photo 6). The parochial players won 21-12.
