Love was in the air on Valentine’s Day, as this couple enjoyed a tour at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, 1020-22 South St. (Photo 1).

More than 200 attendees joined 186th District state Rep. Jordan Harris on the same day for the Active Living Healthy Lifestyle Senior Sweetheart Dance at Yesha Fellowship Hall, 2308 Snyder Ave. (Photos 2 to 3).

The event including musical numbers from the jazz band at The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, 901 S. Broad St. Forever Young Nursery School and Day Care, 1125 W. Moyamensing Ave., held a Valentine’s Day dance and sleepover party Saturday night to raise money for two enrollees whose house burned down Christmas Day (Photo 4).

Tuesday’s South Philadelphia Lions Club Valentine dinner party at The Waterfall Room, 2015 Water St., continued the organization’s 78-year history as the world’s largest service club (Photos 5 to 6).
