Newbolders gathered at Circles, 1516 Tasker St., Sunday for Newbold Neighbors Association’s Recycled Craft Day (Photo 1).

Santa sang Christmas carols with students of Alphabet Academy, 1506 E. Passyunk Ave., at the Singing Fountain, 11th and Tasker streets Dec. 1 (Photo 2).

Recording artist Cody Wise surprised students at his alma mater, Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School, 2600 S. Broad St., Nov. 30 before joining them to perform at the Kimmel Center Friday (Photo 3).

Manton Street Park and Community Garden, 405-11 Manton St., supporters rallied to keep the space, which has been sold, Sunday (Photos 4 and 5).
