The 36th annual Odunde Festival, one of the nations oldest African American street festivals, centered at 23rd and South streets last weekend with vendors and entertainment (Photo 1).

The Point Breeze Performing Arts Center, 1717 Point Breeze Ave., performed at Universal Companies’ Education is Power dinner June 8 (Photo 2).

Students from F. Amedee Bregy School, 1700 Bigler St., competed in After School Activities Partnerships’ Chess Day June 3 (Photo 3).

Dickinson Square Park, Fourth and Tasker streets, entered week two of the inaugural year for its farmers market Sunday, which will continue weekly throughout the summer (Photo 4).

The Junior Firefighter Patrol at Francis Scott Key School, 2230 S. Eighth St., invited Lt. Michael Grant to hold a fire safety assembly for kindergartners through sixth-graders (Photo 5). SPR
