Bike sweepers  on the move

The Mayor’s Office of Transportation and Utilities is holding its Winter Abandoned Bike Sweep Nov. 29 and Dec. 6. The Streets Department will remove tagged abandoned bicycles, which will be donated to local charities that specialize in refurbishing them. 

To report an abandoned bicycle, call 311 or use the Philly-311 smart phone app. Include a description, its location, any damage and what it is locked to (a tree, parking meter, etc.).
