Poncho Spicer
A Northeast Philly man was sentenced for robbing two women in a Newbold/Point Breeze condo’s parking garage.
Poncho Spicer, 48, pled guilty to robbing two women inside Marine Club Condominiums, 1100 S. Broad St., Oct. 9, and was sentenced to 17-and-a-half to 35 years at Graterford Nov. 16, according to court records. Additionally, he will receive drug, alcohol and anger management treatment, and must pay $1,430 in restitution.
Spicer is believed to have first struck Sept. 26, 2011 when he shoved a 28-year-old in her car, according to police. However, she was able to escape. He pled guilty to robbing a 40-year-old by knife of $60 and a laptop Dec. 11, 2011 and a 26-year-old by force of $100 and her cell phone Jan. 12. A tip led to his Jan. 20 arrest.
