A Newbold hoagie shop will donate more than a quarter of hoagie sales to a fallen firefighter’s family.

Joey Joe’s Deli & Prime Meats, 1950 S. 15th St., will serve up hoagies 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, with $2 from each sold going directly to Capt. Michael Goodwin’s family.

Goodwin, who headed Engine 53, 414-16 Snyder Ave., lost his life fighting a blaze at Jack B. Fabrics, 748 S. Fourth St., April 6.
