A Packer Park man remains behind bars for allegedly taking a Lower Moyamensing man’s life in a robbery last month.
Two days after police found Richard Jacovini-Nebbio, 21, of the 2600 block of South Hutchinson Street dead inside a home on the 1800 block of South Juniper Street, a block where he formerly resided, at 4:21 a.m. (“Life taken,” Oct. 18), authorities arrested the alleged offender.
Vincent Villone, 20, of the 3500 block of Capri Court was locked up at 9 p.m. Oct. 18 at Police Headquarters, 750 Race St., and charged with murder, robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, possession of an instrument of crime and firearm violations, according to police and court records. He is being held without bail in Northeast Philly’s county jail.
Villone also was arrested Aug. 29 in the 3rd District for violating an order, terroristic threats, harassment and criminal mischief. That case is scheduled to go to trial Dec. 20.

A Lower Moyamensing man was killed inside an East Passyunk Crossing dwelling Tuesday in what police have deemed a robbery.
