About $10,000 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets were swiped from a state employee’s work vehicle in Passyunk Square last week.
A 55-year-old Pennsylvania Department of Revenue’s Lottery Division worker parked his white 2003 Dodge Caravan, on the 1300 block of South 13th Street at 6 p.m. Nov. 20, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The vehicle was locked overnight, but upon his return to the car at 8 the next morning, the doors were unlocked and the inside was ransacked with several packets of lottery tickets and a $300 digital camera missing.
