“Maybe if Hassan had a job instead of being home in the afternoon, he wouldn't be arguing with other people, and wouldn't have gotten shot.”

“This is really sad... This kid grew up up my block, my kids were very close with him. He DID have an overnight job at Target and on this afternoon was walking him little cousin to the bus stop. This is senseless violence! hassan was a GREAT kid, very intelligent, didnt want the drama of the hood! I know you all think when you hear a black male that they are all bad but believe me it is not true. I am a white woman and I am here to tell you how wonderful this kid was. My daughter is at his funeral as I write this! I understand that some areas are more violent than others but there are good and bad people everywhere. You need to give people a chance as a person, not as a race! RIP Hassan! Love you always!”
