Deadly end to 2012

A bullet to the head killed a Point Breeze man and left another man with the same infliction in critical condition Friday. 


Police responded at 1:59 a.m. for a person with a gun on the 1700 block of Titan Street where officers discovered two wounded men in a 2013 Kia, which was running upon their arrival, Officer Christine O’Brien of Police Public Affairs said. Rahsul Busbee, aka Rahsul Meadows, was found in the driver’s seat. The 22-year-old from the 1200 block of South 21st Street was pronounced dead at the scene 13 minutes later while his 23-year-old passenger was transported to HUP in critical condition. 


Police did not disclose a suspect or motive by press time.
