Police released surveillance video of the men who robbed a West Passyunk business and held two girls at gunpoint.
A pair of armed men walked into Lucky Food Corner, 2101 S. 22nd St. and hopped behind the counter while a third man, armed with a silver firearm was on his cell phone at the front door at 4:15 p.m. (“Troublesome threesome,” March 21), according to police. The duo swiped $300 and 30 SEPTA tokens from the store, along with two iPhones, a wallet and iPad from those behind the counter, which included a 38-year-old woman, 21-year-old man and two 12-year-old girls.
The men fled west on Snyder Avenue and north on Croskey Street, police said.
One robber was described as black, age 30, 5-foot-8; having a medium build; and wearing a gray hoodie, black mask and black gloves while the other was described as black, 5-foot-10, thin and wearing a dark-colored hoodie, blue jeans, a black mask and black gloves. The lookout was described as black, age 23, 5-foot-10, thin and wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a black mask.
