Police are seeking a Marconi bank robber.

A man handed a 28-year-old teller at Conestoga Bank, 2444 S. Broad St., a demand note that indicated he was armed at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. She gave him more than $900. He fled the bank and headed south on Broad Street.

The offender was described as white, age 25 to 35, 5-foot-8, 250 pounds; having a heavy build, blue eyes, acne and freckles on his face; and wearing a dark gray sweatshirt with light gray or white design on the front and back, a navy blue hood with white stripes, light gray sweatpants and sneakers.
