South Philly’s third — and Point Breeze’s second — homicide victim came less than three hours after and less than four blocks away from its second.

Aaron Cole, 36, of North Philly, was gunned down on the 1200 block of South 22nd Street at 11:08 p.m. Friday, according to police. Cole was wounded five times with three bullets to his head, one to his back and one to his left shoulder. Officers transported him to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead at 1:20 a.m. Sunday.

The motive remained unknown, police, who did not have any suspects as of press time, said.
