Police are seeking Flyers fans who pummeled New York Rangers aficionados in Passyunk Square after the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.
The two victims — one of which required stitches — were sporting Rangers jerseys at 7:15 p.m. Jan. 2 near Geno’s Steaks, 1219 S. Ninth St., when three Flyers fans assaulted the pair. Police do not know the motive of the scuffle.
