A Whitman teen was found dead in the middle of a West Passyunk street Saturday night.
Police responded to reports of a person with a gun at 10:48 p.m. on the 2000 block of South Croskey Street, which was where officers spotted Daquan Parker, 17, of the 2500 block of South Sixth Street, with a gunshot wound to the head, Officer Christine O’Brien of the Police Public Affairs Unit said. Medics pronounced Parker dead at the scene 16 minutes later.
Police deemed the motive as an argument, but did not have any suspects at press time, O’Brien said.
