Police are seeking three males who opened fire on a man in Newbold/Point Breeze Saturday night.
Video surveillance surfaced of a shooting that targeted a 24-year-old.
The man was headed north on the 1200 block of South 15th Street at 11 p.m. Saturday when the trio of gunmen approached heading eastbound on Wharton Street, according to police.
The target began to run as the men fired multiple shots that struck him once in the left thigh and twice in the buttocks, police said. He was transported to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for treatment.
The motive was unknown at press time.
The shooters fled westbound on Wharton, police said. They were described as black males, ages 17 to 20 and wearing blue jeans and a blue, burgundy or black hoodie.
