Surveillance video
Police have released surveillance video of the man believed to have mugged a woman in Newbold last month.
A 24-year-old was traveling along the 1700 block of South 15th Street at 12:53 p.m. Oct. 30 when a unknown man grabbed her from behind and pulled her to the ground, according to police. He snatched her purse, which contained $25, ID and credit cards. The thief fled south on 15th Street and west on Moore Street.
The suspect was described as black with a medium complexion, age 18 to 25, 5-foot-8, thin and wearing a black jacket over a red hoodie, black pants and dark-colored shoes.
