About 40 members of the Transport Workers Union Local 234 showed their unity while picketing the SEPTA bus depot, 19th and Johnston streets, Tuesday afternoon during day one of its standoff with the City. The public transit strike that has idled buses, trolleys and subways left many commuters in a mad dash to find other means of getting around town.
