To the Editor:
The violence in our city is getting out of hand. People from out of town will stop coming to see sports.
The punks are jumping old people just for the fun of it. I hope they find them. If it were me, I would hand them over to the families.
They are all just punks. They do this to people who are just taking a walk and come from behind. Out-of- towners see the things that are going on TV and see the violence, so why come here? Bring back the guardian angels, and the city should have two men walking the beats.
Just look at what they did to the old man walking to a bus stop to pick up his wife. I don’t care what color they are, when I was a kid growing up in North Philly, we got in one-on-one fights, not five punks on one and not old people.
