To the Editor:
On the 11 p.m. news, they showed a Shore town amusement park. One of the amusements was a game where they had life-size wooden figures of known people, like bin Laden and Obama.
To win you had to throw a ball through a round hole in the wooden figures. People protested because Obama was disrespected.
I don’t get it. For years people like Jay Leno and David Letterman bashed Bush, yet no protest. Wake up America.

“Well Mr. Gonnella, it's probably due to the fact that Buch actually deserved all the bashing he received. When you take in consideration how the state of this country was prior to Bush becoming "president", and compare it to when Bush left office. This country was/is on the brink of collapse. Now President Obama is tasked with trying to fix everything the bush administration destroyed.”

“Well Mr. Gonnella, it's probably due to the fact that the liberal left thinks Bush is a big evil man who didn't prescribe to spreading the wealth and leading America to our new welfare nation. See, he was a man of conviction. He was a man who stood behind principles. He was a man who did not worry about being liked by the rest of the world but instead was more concerned with keeping America safe. To the liberal left, it was a statement to burn Bush in effigy, not to mention a hell of a good time (as they did often at their anit-war protests). Yes, lets take into consideration the state of the country before Bush. We had a president with no morals or values who was distracted by his own sexual needs. We had a president who purgered himself in court. We had a president who allowed terrorism to explode during his 8 years in office. Embassy bombings, Cole bombing etc. with little to no response.”

“Bush didn lead us into a recession. The economy was doing pretty good during the first term of the Bush administration!!! When the Democrats took over congress, things start going down hill.
