To the Editor:
Two South Philadelphia principals — Mr. Thomas Koger, above, from left, of Stephen Girard School, 18th Street and Snyder Avenue, and Mr. Christopher Wiler, of F. Amedee Bregy School, 1700 Bigler St. — were honored Aug. 7 at Burlington Coat Factory, 424 W. Oregon Ave., for Outstanding Leadership in the Community. Mr. Harold Reed, unit director from The Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, 25th and Jackson streets, honored both of the recipients with their awards.
It touches my heart to see such acts of kindness and thoughtfulness for both of the principals. Keep up the good work Mr. Koger and Mr. Wiler. Both of you are assets to the South Philadelphia school system and the community.
