“Reducing attention spans? That’s so vague, I think in itself, too much television does it in and of itself. I don’t know if I would just isolate it to just one cartoon. Like I said, I don’t let my son watch it so I don’t know much about it.”

“As far as my 6-year-old child is concerned, there are some episodes that I don’t let her watch because it could be like a bad influence. I have to call her at least five or six times so she can come here and see what I want. I try to cut the TV off, and she’ll turn it back on.”

“I love ‘SpongeBob.’ I sit there and watch ‘SpongeBob’ with my kids, and they know right from wrong. If he says something wrong, you don’t say what he says. But I don’t let them watch TV all day. If you let them watch an hour of TV, they’re good.”

“They’re kids, I don’t think their attention span is really that high to begin with.”
