With MTV recently celebrating its 30th anniversary, what is your fondest memory of the network?
“Definitely watching ‘Jackass.’ I loved growing up and watching all the stupid stuff they did.”
Dante Beaudry,
12th and Jackson streets
“Oh man ... so many bad memories. My favorite is probably when the Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’ music video came out.”
Emanuela Corrales,
11th and Wolf streets
“It was this dating show [‘Singled Out’] with Jenny McCarthy as the host. It was the best. I loved watching it down the Shore.”
Kathy Patrone,
13th and Tasker streets
“‘Jersey Shore.’ It is so funny. They’re all tan and muscly. My favorites are JWoww and Snooki. I can’t wait for the premiere [tonight].”

“I have a few fond memories since I actually was around for the beginning of MTV unlike the people interviewed! 1. VJ - Mark Goodman who was a DJ at Philly's WMMR before he was a VJ; 2. Moon Men; 3. Videos playing all day and all night, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week...ROCK VIDEOS! Lots and lots of ROCK videos - shows were rare! These kids don't know the REAL MTV! It was the best and as addictive as Facebook and Twitter!
