Neumann-Goretti grad and La Salle University sophomore Tyreek Duren was named the Philadelphia Big 5 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. The guard averaged 17 points while making 11 of his 14 shot attempts in a week in which the Explorers went 1-1. Duren dropped 21 points, handed out six assists and swiped a season-high four steals in a win over Penn. Duren netted 13 points in a setback to Dayton.
