Side ways
The Shore might be over the river and through the tolls, but a taste of the sea was never so close. Rogert Kola, left, brings the sun, sand and surf home, where he’ll “chill out” with his wife while steaming up a dozen crabs supplied to him by Timmy Thomas of Phil’s Crabs at 10th Street and Oregon Avenue. Not everyone can break away for the breaking waves, but once in a while a bushel more than suffices.
