Strummin' on the ole banjo

banjo.jpg

Just because he lives in the city doesn’t mean this urban musician can’t play a little country. Sitting on the side of Oregon Avenue, Banjo Bobby plucks some twangy tunes on his banjo and breathes new life into old-world jams on his harmonica. Dallying the sunny days away with folky notes, the resident — now retired — has gained his own audience, as people wave and affectionately honk their horns as they pass by.
