Making it count

Vibe-7-26.jpg
All they needed was a jug, some Styrofoam cups and a plastic table to find a profitable way to spend time outdoors. The Ortiz family set up shop Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of Porter and Alder streets, offering a homemade treat to a thirsty Edith Enos. Enos paid 25 cents — a bargain in this day and age — for the tasty concoction. Dad Angel poured a frosty cup, while daughters Francesca, center, and Selena collected the payment. What better way to enjoy a summer afternoon than to give back to the community and collect some milk money — or in this case a tea total.
