Order up
It's all about the clothes for Kristen Haddad. When not in her neatly pressed uniform, pad in hand at the Melrose Diner, the resident of 17th and McKean streets creates designs that are stenciled on to oh-so-cool T-shirts. Hitting the burgeoning local arts scene by way of Connecticut, the 24-hour-town (and its famous diner) known as South Phillly was an easy choice for her new home - and her foray into the fashion industry.
