That’s the spirit
As the holiday hustle and bustle swirls into a frenzy, it’s time to make sure every decoration and detail is in perfect order. If Black Friday is not about bursting shopping bags but creating a winter wonderland, then the hours will be spent checking lights and fishing out wrapping paper. Jo-Ann Guenther, originally from Seventh and Wharton streets, and assistant Jimmy Bason, have kept serenity alive amid the chaos for 23 holiday seasons at her All Occasions Flowers, 1002 South St., where even the snowmen smile — at least until the January bills arrive.
