Watery winter

Vibe_12_20.jpg
Despite blustery winds and temperatures (or wind chills) that have dipped below freezing, that rumored nor’easter has yet to dump a load of seasonal powder on South Philly streets. The closest we have gotten is last Thursday’s wintry mix, which left these droplets hanging on a stark branch at 10th and Morris streets, knowing their days are numbered. It is just a matter of time before gusts whip exposed, rosy cheeks and sleet pelts weary travelers with just-above-freezing rain. A White Christmas may not be in our immediate future, but will a Wintry Mix one do?
